Food Network DATABASE
Our main purpose as a volunteer group is to build a database of local producers and interested consumers, that can be used by both parties to find where and when local foods are available. Registration is required to login and access the database.

What's New
Check us out at the Fair!
From August 19-21 the NVFN will be at the Nechako Valley Exhibition (Fall Fair). Come see us at our booth to chat about what is new with the Food Network, learn about the Community Garden, and pick up a Local Food Producers Guide and more!

Click here to see the Apple Guy's schedule for Vanderhoof. BTW: the Apple Guy comes to Vanderhoof a few times a summer and brings fresh apples and other fruit in bulk quantities for canning and pie etc.
Food Event to Prince George - August 27
The NVFN has organized a Community Gardens Tour in Prince George for August 27. We will be car pooling to Prince George to tour a variety of community gardens. View the poster for more information and a schedule of the days events.

The Nechako Valley Food Network is governed by the Nechako Healthy Community Alliance, a newly formed nonprofit society aimed at supporting local initiatives that encourage healthy living.
